Children and Young People
At Holy Trinity Hampton, we value the safety of all people. We strive to keep everyone safe from any harm, especially the youngest members of our church family. You can view the full Anglican Diocese of Melbourne Child Safe policy here, and the Anglican Church of Australia, Diocese of Melbourne Code of Conduct here.
Toddlers
We love having children of all ages being part of our worship. Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs' (Luke 18.16). We have a beautiful play area that's colourful, cosy and enclosed where they can play safely and you can sit and be nourished by the word of God and feel part of the Holy Trinity family.
HT Kids
HTkids church is an awesome opportunity to creatively bring God’s message to our children. God has blessed us, and we are very grateful for the families we minister to.
During school term time our young people aged 3 to 12, meet on Sunday mornings at 9.30am in the church before heading off to the HT Kids Pavillion (on site), to explore the stories of the Bible through videos, chat, craft, and games.
Periwinkles Playgroup
We provide free-play time, and a mix of music and movement time, story time and craft. Morning tea of fruit for kids and tea and coffee for adults is provided.
A fun time for babies, toddlers and kids up to school age, and a great way to meet other mums, dads, grandparents, carers, and kids.
When: Thursdays during school term time
Where: Holy Trinity Church Hall at 14 Thomas Street, Hampton (parking on site)
Time: 9.30am – 11.00am

Our leaders have a current Working with Children Check, and backgrounds in Early Childhood, Teaching and Music and we are members of Playgroup Victoria.
We think kids are a pretty good investment and we want to help them develop and grow in an interactive way. We also feel it is important to support their families as well and find time for a coffee or tea and a chat. So if you're up for it, come along on Thursday mornings about 9.30am.
Holy Trinity abides by the Safeguarding Guidelines of the Diocese of Melbourne and all volunteers working with children require a Working With Children Check.
