Introducing Our Locum
The Rev'd Ross Duncan and Deb Duncan celebrated their last service with Holy Trinity on Sunday, June 5, 2022 and we are having parish locums minister to us whilst the Bishop and our Incumbency Committee search for a new Vicar for Holy Trinity.
The Rev'd Greg Allinson is the current Parish Locum working 2 days a week for Holy Trinity.
Greg wrote this in our weekly newsletter recently:
Hi all, it is our pleasure to come and serve at Holy Trinity Hampton from this Sunday through until Easter.
Joy and I have been married for 36 years and have two adult daughters (Stefi – IT support person; Zoe – HR manager), a son in law (Isaac – aerospace engineer) and grandson (Levi – nearly 2). We have recently moved to our house in Black Rock and are loving being by the beach.
Things about Greg. Loves being with people – having dinners, playing cards, going for walks. Became a Christian aged 20 while studying music at Melbourne (plays piano, clarinet, saxophone, bass guitar). Loves camping and fishing and tolerates his poor golf ability. Has been ordained for 31 years and served, 8 years at GWAC, 9 years as vicar of St Matthew’s Prahran, and recently 13 years as Vicar of St Mark’s Camberwell. Also served as Archdeacon of Kew for 10 years, and council member of Camberwell Girls, Camberwell Boys and Archbishop in Council.

Things about Joy. Works full time as a GP in Prahran. Loves op shopping, a bit of gardening and spending time with the family. Also plays the piano (and will occasionally be at Ormond Anglican – our home base church – playing music).
