Ladies Champagne High Tea Delicious!

On Sunday August 4, twenty-four Hampton ladies endulged in a delicious high tea consisting of sandwiches, Thai spring rolls, scones with jam and cream, lemon slice and chocolate cakes served on fine bone china and white linen tablecloths. Add to this a glass or two of sparkling and it was a very pleasant way to spend a cold winter's afternoon. It was a great mix of neighbours, netball mums and parishioners who attended and is an event that's sure to be repeated - perhaps next time with the gentlemen included as we did hear of a few 'Why can't I come too?' comments as feedback. All up, including a box of fresh fruit and vegies that was raffled off, over $600 was raised towards the upkeep of Holy Trinity's buildings. Many thanks to those who hosted, cooked, served, supplied the raffle prize and cleaned up on the day.
